Stolen from friends

I amNyarlathotep!

The 999 forms of Nyarlathotep are a point of meditation for the true initiate. It is through these manifold faces that the secrets of the universe are made known. Called "The Crawling Chaos", Nyarlathotep is the disembodied ego of Azathoth and thus the universal "I" of known reality. Some of the many documented forms are; Father of Knives, Nephren-Ka, the Black Man, the Beast of the Lashing Tongue to name a few.

Which Great Old One are you?

(no subject)

I felt strange this morning. My stomach was all funny from nerves. I can't quite put my finger on what was bothering me but it might have just been early morning grogginess. In fact, I'm almost sure it was partly heat, morning grogginess and hating the thought of having to return my DS lite because it had some dead pixels on one of the screens.

I'd tried to return the DS yesterday but as it turned out, they were sold out pretty much everywhere. This morning I called the location that's about 2 blocks away from where I worked and they had one unit left! So, they held it for me and I ran over to exchange it. They were really nice about it (nicer than at the location where I bought it actually - not that they were mean or anything) and the guy who I spoke with said that they'd had a few returns (four to be exact) because of burnt pixels. That made me feel a bit better about it. I mean, a burnt pixel or two seems like such a minor thing but when you buy something, you want it to be in top condition for more than 8 days. So, I'm hoping this one doesn't end up giving me the same problem but I got the extended warranty anyway... just in case. Of course, if it happens again before 30 days, I can just exchange it again (even though I hate exchanging/returning things).

In other news, I'm really enjoying Brendan Myers' book, The Mysteries of Druidry, and I even recommended it to someone who was looking at it in Indigo the other day. I also picked up three more books while I was there and a copy of Sage Woman because it had an article on simpler living that caught my eye.

Yes... I have a book addiction.
