Nothing but Crows

This morning I woke up and tried to drag myself in to work only to decide on the way that I actually needed to take myself to emergency... two hours later, I was doped up on prednisone and ventolin. So I'm feeling much better now but I'm VERY shakey. I went to the hospital right across the street from work since I knew where it was.

My breathing issues actually started last night but I figured it would just pass since I wasn't wheezing or anything. I was wrong. I slept fitfully and had nightmares. My inhaler was inneffective but I just tried to grin and bear it. I think that was my biggest mistake. I'm actually worried that I might have done some damage to myself.

Man... I'm so shaky from this whole asthma ordeal. What was really odd was that the doctor said my lungs actually sounded clear. They still feel sore from the strain though. *sigh* That'll learn me to try and deal with it on my own.

In any case, I don't think I'll be finishing my shift at work. I'm feeling way too worn out. I have an appointment with my doctor that was schedule for after work but I'm going to see if I can have it moved up to an earlier time.

The trip to my Dad's was AWESOME!! Jboy and I had a great time and he seemed to hit it off really well with my family (Dad and Nana). They seemed to like him. Dad and him got into a few really good discussions about politics, religion and human rights. It was really neat listening to them "bonding" like that. hehe We will definitely be going back again.
