I wonder if I'm really awake at all

I woke up this morning with a headache... I took an advil right away but it appears to be a migraine and the advil is having little effect. *sigh* I did however, remember to bring my lunch again, which makes me happy since I made myself a nice ham and turkey sandwich.

My dearest has an interview this morning (right about now actually) and I'm really hoping that it turns up a bit of work for him. It's a government job up at the North end of town, so it's a bit of a trek to get there, but definitely better than nothing.

I spent my evening last night at Jboy's place. I worked on my essay while he worked on some of his freelance work. I didn't get a lot of writing done but I now have three of the five pages I need for the essay. I'm enjoying writing this one more than the last two but finding it taking a bit longer as I try and work through my thoughts as I go.

I definitely need to try and get some more exercise into my week. Even if it's just a little bit more walking throughout the day. Of course, with the temperature dipping down to -16 with the windchill these days I don't have much desire to go for a stroll. If I had some floor space that wasn't covered in boxes I could lay my yoga mat down and do a bit of yoga... alas, until I figure out how to organize all the stuff that arrived the other day, I don't really have any room for it.

I have a meeting today that will take up the whole morning and I have a feeling it's going to hard to sit through with a migraine. [Shortly after typing that, my manager told us that he needs someone to stay and go to the meeting next week instead, so that's one less bit of worry] I was tempted to call in sick this morning but figured that it wouldn't be a good idea. Thursday's seem to be rough on me for some reason. At least, that's what I've been noticing. I wonder why.
